Essex County Hospital - Farewell Trip was created by Shadows
I had no idea how long it had been since I last roamed the halls and tunnels of Essex Hospital for the Looney and Problematic. This was one of my favorite spots and one of the only hospitals I really got to explore before it was mostly gutted or falling down. It was not until after this trip that I went through the archives and found that it was almost exactly three years since the last time I was there.
It was good to be back, but it was amazing how three years of idiots, water damage, scrapping, and demolition can take their toll on a place. Like always, I shot way too few pictures there, but here are the best of them.

We found numerous doors that had always been open before were now locked, and many of the "landmarks" we used to navigate were gone.

Our beloved chill room, three years later...

I doubt I'll ever make it there again, but then I've said that before about places and found myself back there. If not, I wish it a fond farewell. For this location was one of the best.
