This building sits in a state park in New Jersey. It used to be part of an estate, and though most of the buildings are re- purposed there are a few derelict structures remaining. We didn't spend much time inside, as we hit this on the way out of the park.

The cave crickets inside of this building during the warmer months are indeed terrifying. ;-) Did you travel up to the top floor? I stumbled upon a few turkey vulture chicks nesting in the attic. There are a handfull more abandoned houses around the state park's up in this area.

No, we stuck to the lower floors. The staircase from the basement to the first level was bending under our weight. We decided not to risk the one to the next floor. Also, we saw a few other structures, but we wanted to get home as this building was just on the way back from our real objective.
